Ya Hala!
Full design and visual direction for “Ya Hala!”, a five-level Arabic language series developed for students whose first language is not Arabic. The series focuses on building conversational fluency, comprehension, and cultural connection through playful visuals and progressive learning design. I created the complete visual identity and book system, including the cover concept, interior layout, and activity page design. Each level introduces a distinct color palette and set of illustrated characters that guide learners through thematic units, helping them interact with Arabic in an engaging and relatable way. The design emphasizes clarity, readability, and motivation, ensuring accessibility for non-native learners while maintaining a vibrant educational tone aligned with Hachette Antoine’s standards. Deliverables: five book covers, full inside layout (student’s book + workbook) and production-ready files.
